Longest Skid Highlights, Hampton BMX 2016

The super fun SCBF Longest Skid competition was back again at Hampton BMX track this year! We have footage of pretty much all the competitors crazy skid runs in this video. One of the coolest things that we did this year was we added the 5 year old and under riders on stider/balance bikes in all the competitions to see what happens and the results were awesome! The Strider riders got creative and slid their feet on the ground to get that skid action lol!! Check out the clip below!

SCBF Winter Series Round #8 Highlights

Round #8 was the last event before the Winter Series finals at Brooklyn Bike Park so we had a small turnout of just 4 riders. We still ran the event for some last chance points and had a blast. This video is a highlight reel of action. Big shout out to Seth, Chris, Justin and Devin for coming out and shredding at the event!

Video footage of the epic round #7 of the Sugar Cayne Bike Fest Winter Series at Brooklyn Bike Park! We had a great turnout for this one a good mix of young and old riders. We also had a special guset competitor Adam Hauck, pro mountain biker. He was killing it all day setting new records in the longest skid and high jump competitions. He boosted to an insane 6ft during the High jump! The video below is some of best footage we got from the Winter Series so far!

Highlight footage from round #6 of the Sugar Cayne Bike Fest Winter Series held at Brooklyn Bike Park. This was the one when Chris Motorhead and Alec Glasgall had an epic battle during the High Jump competiton. There’s also some footage from the bunny hop, time trial, time trail relay and chase race competitions.

SCBF Winter Series Finals March 12th

Round #9 of the SCBF Winter Series at Brooklyn Bike Park are happening this weekend and it’s gonna be a awesome one! Round#9 is also the Winter Series finals and we have a lot of awesome prizes, awards and even medals to give out. It has been an awesome series and it’s also the first of it’s kind to be held in New York City.

We will be running 8 competitions at the finals: High Jump, Bunny Hop, Longest Skid, Time Trial, Time Trial Relay, Best Style, Most Manuals and Chase Race. Once all the points of the series have been calculated we’ll be giving out special awards and prizes to the winners. Prizes and awards will also be given out to the competition winners of the day’s event.

As always it’s a “Run What Ya Brung” event so bring any of your bikes to compete; BMX, MTB, FAT BIKE, Cyclocross Bike, Fixed Gear even road bikes…….don’t believe us? Check out our latest promo video

The cost to compete is $20 (BKBP entry included). Basically you get to ride Brooklyn Bike Park all day for $20 plus compete in 8 competitions. Now that’s bang for ya buck!

Our awesome prizes were generously given to us by our incredible sponsors Snafu, Hyper Bicycles, Skyway, DHD Wear, BMX Racing Group, Tioga, Truth BMX, Free2Ride, Team Corrosive, State Bicycle Co.

Track opens at 8:30, Registration starts at 8:30, competitions start at 12pm

Adam Hauck Breaking Records At SCBF Winter Series #7

We were super excited when we saw MTB Pro Adam Hauck at round #7 of the SCBF Winter Series. Adam signed up for all 8 competitions that we ran that day and he shredded everyone! We debut our “Longest Wheelie” competition at round#7 and Adam set the record at a super long 117ft 6in, Adam also broke event records in the “Most Manuals” competitions by doing 24 manuals within 30 seconds(The previous record of 21 was held by Seth Freedman). Then Adam went an insanely high 6ft during the “High Jump” competition and shattered Chris Motorheads record of 5ft 3in. Adam went on to win 6 of the 8 competitions for the day which is a record in its self lol.

It was definitely awesome watching Adam compete at the event, he put on an awesome show for everyone in attendance. What special guest will show up at the next events….stay tuned!!

Jesse was the only 10 year old who competed at this event so we had him compete in the 16&Over group. His points will go towards the 10-15 age group and overall series

SCBF Winter Series 3, Drone Video By Michael Wikan

Michael Wikan of Michael Wikan Photography brought his drone out and captured some amazing footage at round #3 of the SCBF Winter Series event at Brooklyn Bike Park. He put together this dope edit featuring overhead views of the track and event and awesome views of NYC and the old Domino Sugar Factory building that stands next to the track.

The edit came out awesome!

Michael is also the founder of the popular BMX racing team, Team Corrosive. Team Corrosive is also a co-sponsor of the SCBF Winter Series
